JOB OVERVIEW:

Here is a breakdown of the job duties you will be performing as a copywriter:

- CREATIVE IDEATION: Recognize and develop great ideas, pushing them forward to fuel the team’s creative process. Lead and support the entire Kitchen team to think bigger, faster, and more innovatively.

- TEAM LEADERSHIP: Lead by example to help inspire the creative team around them. Motivate and work with a team of designers, producers, social media managers, and strategists to ensure that The Kitchen is a collaborative place for producing great ideas.

- INNOVATION: Invent and create cutting-edge ideas. And also drive social innovation and digital ideas from the team around.

- COLLABORATION: Act with optimism for the next big challenge and work as one integrated team with your brand partners.

- BRAND STEWARDSHIP: Ability to turn brand data into compelling messages and create strategically sound brand stories.

- ADAPTABILITY: Demonstrate resiliency in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where ideas and opportunities happen fast and require flexibility.

Requirements

  • 4+ years relevant experience working in a creative ideation capacity

  • Proven track record and portfolio of work

  • Extensive knowledge and work experience in a creative field

  • Experience in social/digital concept ideation, creative strategy, and copywriting

  • Communicate ideas simply and effectively

  • Organized approach to delivering work under tight deadlines

  • Ability to generate a volume of ideas on short notice and deliver copy on time and with consistently high quality

  • Experience mentoring junior creatives and team members

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex situations

  • Experimentation mindset, embracing new creative media platforms, and trends

  • A high level of awareness, and enthusiasm for the unique world of online culture

  • A strong, personal passion for food and food marketing
